What is an authorised tour guide?

As a tour guide I convey the history, art, music and traditions of Austria in a most interesting and customer friendly way.

After the obligatory training every tour guide has to take an official exam in
2 languages, german and another language.

One also has to be registered to be allowed to make tours around many of Austrias stately homes, museums, churches, monasteries and theatres.

Can one book other tours which are not listed here?
